The Company

Max Waszak
Founding Artistic Director
Max is a theater-maker of many hats. When creating, Max loves to wipe the slate as clean as possible and begin working with what we carry with us: bodies, voices, and imaginations.
Max considers the roles of director and teacher virtually inseparable. As a director, he will engage his performers in some form of training or craft development and in his classroom he will likewise create for his students an environment as immediate and demanding as a rehearsal room.
Max is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting in Washington DC, and East 15 Acting School in the UK. Many thanks to Deva Kirin and Daisy for so much love and support.

Shawn-Herbert Felton
Mercutio | Friar Lawrence | Lady Montague
Shawn-Herbert is a Brooklyn transplant from Cleveland, OH. His love affair with Shakespeare began as a child and has been nurtured in a city that values the Bard as much as NYC.
